I presently own and use a 2004 Shiver - which I LOVE
I have been offered a 2005 888RC. Cost is not a factor in this question. My only concern is whether or not the 2005 888RC is a better fork for riding Whistler and Seymour.
Corey made the switch from the Shiver to the 888 and now I have been presented with a similiar offer.
What would you do?

888 is a tall fork, if you really like the way your bike is setup now, I wouldn't change it. Both forks will feel pretty much exactly the same in the area of sensitivity and the like. If you're a big guy though, you may notice the 888 will be stiffer.
In other words, I'd keep the Shiv

My vote is keep the Shivers until you have a chance to try someone's 888 on your bike.
