I was just wondering if winter express cards give you a break at all on the pricing of the bike park pass. I think i remember hearing something about it last year but i am not sure.

also, who is getting a pass this year?

I am.

you can only get 50 off even if you have brocard and cycling bc and what ever else entitles you to a discount.

does the express card get you $50 off as well as the bro card because if it does i wont be needing to buy a bro card. I hate to say that but i will not be getting my moneys worth out of one if i can save the $50 with my express card

I know a Winter season's gets you a discount, I dunno about the express card though.

It gives you the same discount you get from a BroCard, but you can only get it once. ie: you can't get $50 off for BroCard and then another $50 off for winter pass.

SORCA/WORCA memeberships also got you a discount ($50), well they used to, I imagine it hasn't changed.

The thing about the BroCard is that Whistler is only beginning.

If you buy a Whistler pass you'll save $50 bringing the price down to $275.

If you never buy bike parts, eat food, break parts or stay in hotels etc. etc. that's all you'll save.

But if you spend $200 in BroCard bike shops, eat a couple of meals at BroLocations, go Bungee jumpiing or ride a couple of days at Sun Peaks and Silver Star (which will be epic this year!) you could easily be pocketing another hundred bucks.

If you spend like the average BroCard holder the card will save you in the neighbourhood of $200 annually. We think that's worth $40.

On top of that 5% of BroCard sales go into the nsmb trail fund. We have some big plans for that this year that could make a real difference to the trails you ride.

The BroCard will help you find the best shops, restaurants, pubs as well as hotels that accommodate mountain bikers. You'll save 25% off your food bill at any Denny's in Western Canada too.

If you are a short-term thinker who wants to save a quick buck this may not be for you. If you want to save all season long and ease the pain when almost every time you ride it's a no-brainer.

This needs to be communicated to the various Denny's locations. The manager of the Kelowna Denny's looked at me like I was playing a joke on her when I asked for my discount upon presenting the card. She eventually gave me the discount due to my polite persistance. This was on Sunday Feb 20, just for your info.

can you get a seasons pass over the internet like pay for it and then just show up and get your picture taken then ride. Or do you have to take money to the customer service place and do it all there.

I think it's awesome what Brent and Denny's are doing for riders. Putting money into NSMB and Norco teams, and giving us a discount when we eat. Big fan.

lol. thats sweet you get a discount at Denny's. Maybe i will get a brocard for the hell of it. My friend just offered to take me to Denny's about 10 min ago but i said no. That would be sweet to get a discount at Denny's. Is there anything worked out with Subway?
