that disc mount makes me a bit nervous, but the head tube looks as nice as any i've seen.

Actually that style disc mount on the chainstay is the strongest you can get [it's post mount]. Regular mounts will bust off in a month if you use them for trials, they are weak as hell.

nice, once you desing your mod ill have to "borrow" your design.

It depends on what you want... But the typical price range is between 800 - 1200 canadian depending on options. I think that rider paid $1000 for his frame, but it's 100% custom right down to the geometry and a few other odd modifications.

looks like your server is down^^^
nice disc mount. very nice design.
EDIT:
although, i am no gonna lie. that rear triangle is now a "rear square", and therefore weaker. a triangle could be held in place even if all of the "welds" were "pivots"... it's still secure. this, with four points of connection, does not enjoy this benefit.
Whats the frame designed for?

This frame is for trials, I am not sure why you'd want pivots for a rigid frame, if you used pivots for a trials frame they would develope slop really fast... And if the rear end was a triangle then you couldn't have the disc on the chainstay. The V. 2.0 design held up just fine and the rider who bought the frame was known to break several rear disc mounts and triangles before.

not what i meant.
i just meant that a triangle is far stronger than a "square", laterally.
thats why they build briges out of triangles.

this is what i meant:

I see your point, but you can't compare the stress from trials to that of a bridge. Generalizations about frame design and simple geometric structures don't really have much weight. In the end trials puts different stress on a bike is different then any other style of riding. Here is the v 2.0 design and it's just a bent seatstay, the frame was sub 4lbs. The guy [paul] who designes and builds peyto frames is doing his masters at UBC in engineering and has many years experience building frames, so I think he has a good grasp of strength and design.

i like the above design far more...
all looks very nice... obvioulsy very top notch
and, for the actual mount, this design is really nice.... i wasn't talking about the method of mounting the brake. that is very nice. i was speaking about the rear triangle as a whole...

Yeah, peyto makes some serious nice bike...seen morley pimpin his out a few times and a few XC bikes at the dump...if I get a hardtail again, I want it to be a peyto....you cant beat a custom ride....and that is a great price for one too.
