I guarantee, everyone who has ridden on Fromme has a connection with him because you've ridden on trails he's worked on. He only spends about 10 hours per week up there maintaining stuff - in the past 5 years alone he's probably got in excess of 2,500 hours under his belt.

But he's such a low key, ghost like spirit of the forest no-one even knows who he is.

We finally managed to push him to the forefront. If you want to know who he is check out the interview on TV tonight done at last Sundays BP trail day...

Here's details

Jack Christie from Shaw Cable came out to cover this event and below are the show times!

Our show on last Sunday's NSMBA Trails Day runs tomorrow night (Thurs) on The Express at 6pm and repeats over the following four days (check http://vancouver.shawtv.com for complete show times).

both Dean and Pete are amazing builders and people. the amount of work they have done on 7th/Krikum is mind blowing. ride it every week to appreciate exactly how much there are doing... I'm constantly blown away.

if you ride these trails, be sure to put in your $20 to NSMBA and give them a hand with big rocks if you see them on the trail :)

I guess Dean hit the cutting room floor.

Dave Diplock and Sideshow shone. it was a very good segment.

When you see pics of Dean's trail work, it is more inspiration for riding then any MTB vid.

Does he have some kind of magical powers when it comes to finding good rocks?

Peter is awesome. If you get a chance to work with him at a trail day, do so. He's very good about sharing his wealth of trail building knowledge.

Just a couple pictures - there's tons on NSMBA's website.

TAP and I rode the 7th, Leopard, Krikum link last week for the first time this year.

We were taken aback by the trail and wood work that had been repaired - we saw a wheel-barrow on the way down and had a look around to offer help, but didn't see anyone.

THANKS!

Just rode those trails for the first time today, definitely some impressive trailwork. Griffen had some nice building as well. :thepimp:
