My dad took my family and my girlfriend to Maui at the end of January for 2 weeks. Was an amazing time. Everything was great. 30 degrees celsius everyday. Just amazing. On the way home my digital camera, with memory cards and batteries got stolen somewhere between Hawaii and Calgary. But I do however have pictures that my girlfriend took so I figured I'd post them. So ya....

Those are the better ones that turned out. She was shooting film so didn't have nearly as many pictures as I had. Damned thieves :flame:

Didnt go ride? Damn there is some fun riding there and paul has some good bikes for rent. Sounds like you had fun, i cant wait to go back home to there this summer, continents are too cold.

did you enjoy makena(big beach)? best beach ever

what i would do to be at my house in kula right now...

Girlfriend is good with the camer :) The drive up haleakala is so fun :P

i heard the road up Haleakala is the shortest road form sea-level to 10000 feet, they have a road bike race up it every year, its ridiculous.

A road race up that??? I can't imagine simply riding up it. That's one long punishing climb.

And I didn't get to do any riding, I wish I had but I was just enjoying the time on the beach.

And we went to Big Beach which was really damned cool, there was some kid there who was skim boarding on a boogey board into the cresting waves and then boosting probably 10 feet off the waves doing rodeo flips and such. Really cool.
