I have only done Parksville, pre clearcut, Bear, Whistler, and Sunpeaks.. whats your faveorite DH course out there.

Personally I like Hammerfest the best of the above with bear a close second.

Sun Peaks of course. Bear is fun, the old Silver Star course was a hoot.

sun peaks nationals is by far the funnest. Everything from crazy flat out speed to hairy "OH GOD!" steeps. I like it.

...but that's the fun part! Anyone can go fast in the dry. If you can go fast in horrible conditions like that, its so much of an accomplishment. Though it's too bad I suck in the mud.:P

Penticton was ok. Panorama was lots of fun... except for the drive.

I wonder if it's possible to fly there instead of drive? I'd pay some serious $$$ not to drive 9 hrs

I really liked the Whistler course. It had some nice drops, gaps, tech, burms, steeps, speed ... really had everything you could possibly ask for.

Sun Peaks Canada Cup course was a good second place though. Was a fun course this year.

I didn't enjoy bear in the mud that much, well I enjoyed sections of it.
Sunpeaks is a ripper 100%.
Parksville was a tonne of fun, rough as hell through the clearcut and the jumps were nice.
I think of what I've ridden though the course at Rossland on Red Mountain was fun. Steep, loose, twisty..... and fricken hard work.

The best DH course is a trail here in Courtenay. Fastest trail I've ridden and WAY longer than a standard DH course. PM me if your in town :)

Can anyone tell me what trails you have to link at Sun Peaks that makes up the course?

Bear is good, Hammerfest was good too. I find that most of the ones in ski areas are pretty similar. Rocky, dry and genereally pretty fast.
