What have some of you been doing for the upcoming season?

Me:

- Road riding (quality not quantity).
- Spin classes.
- Secret weight training and sprinting excerises. ;)
- DH/FR runs at speed.
- Psychological prep.

I would like to get a pretty regular road ride happening, Friday, Saturday or Sunday if anyone is interested. It will be at a moderately high to very strenuous pace with lots of power work. Let me know.

Basic base building, spinning and running, a bit of weights to maintain strength...lots of stretching, yoga and swimming. Focusing a lot on eating and hydrating properly. I figure another month of base building and then I can start some hill training. I wish I had a road bike for base building, most on-trail xc riding up here is up...

Ive been doing alot more fast pace hour or so road rides on my hardtail. then lots of cornering practice stuff. Then just basic work out stuff. Really i just do this to stay in shape anyways, not just for racing.

ummm, 6hr+ rides, no cars involved. you get fitness (cardio) and high-speed running on the downs. plus coming down at the end of the day when you're bagged is a little harder...

anyone who has smallish bikes or w/e... i'm trying to get some Fromme Seymour double crowns going down... gotta get ready for Jamers @ dizzy's triple crown :thepimp:

I've been eating as much as I can over winter to increase the gravitational pull and lower my center of gravity to help cornering and steeps.

that's the attitude we need in the masters class...let's face it we're old, and are supposed to enjoy the fine things in life, BEER, FOOD,biking with chair lifts and couches, not training. haha.
