Im looking into an adapter to turn the hope 5 bolt roter pattern into a 6 bolt one (the standard...hayes compatible etc....) Ive seen a 6 bolt to 5 bolt...but have no clue if there is one for 5 bolt to 6 bolt.
here is an example(the rear roter)

I really dont see why you wouldnt spend $40 getting a new rotor?

im not using the rear wheel now, but i want to. And I run dual 8 inch hayes, which wont go onto that hub. Right now my rear wheel is a 24, i want to put that one on and run dual 26 but I cant because the roters are not compatible. Fair enough?

I think that the spline pattern is the same with these CK adapters.

Im refering to the bolt pattern. Most hubs are 6 bolt, I dont know why hope made these 5 bolt. But god its annoying.
wouldnt putting a adaptor on your hub, then bolting a 6" rotor to that affect your rotors side-spacing ???
im not sure how that would work bud...

I'm pretty sure hope sells adapters for that.. otherwise you could get one of those splined rotors in 8" from them.
or king has adapters aswell (dunno if the splines are the same though.)
see if you can get the lockring tool while you're at it. my experience was that virtually no shops had the proper tool...and the lockring tends to wiggle loose if it's not done up tight.
edit: just checked: king uses a different mount. splines may be the same but the hope has a lockring, king uses a single bolt...may still work, but not likely.
why are you guys talking about splines???
he has an older hope rear hub, that only has 5 holes for the rotor instead of the standard 6 holes. and i believe the 'adapter' isnt really an adapter perse. the older hope rotors were 2 piece, an inner piece bolted/riveted (cant remember) to the outer braking surface piece. so i believe you are looking for the inner piece with a 6 bolt pattern, if the rotor is attached by bolts. if its riveted, then im not too sure what your options are. best bet is to get into contact with hope or a dealer, and ask them firsthand

at least some of the old hope hubs had a five bolt aluminum spider connected to the hub via a lock-ring and splines... that's how mine was

no is the answer.
You can buy rotors to suit your hayes from hope in a 5 bolt pattern, but hope don't make an adaptor. You can also buy new hub bodies (centre shell that the spider currently fits onto) that will allow you to refit your current bearings, free hub etc.
The price for these in the UK is about £35 but it means that you will be completely future compatible.. i will be coming to Vancouver in 36 days if you can't get one in BC (yup counting down) so if you want a hub body we can work something out.
duncan.

You've the same problem as me. My HT's running Hope C2's and the original Hope Sport Hubs, from 2000, sweet bearings, no need to replace them - only they're not really compatible with anything else these days - should I want to change the calipers.
I recently asked Hope UK whether they did a 6-bolt spider to replace the 5-bolt one, but they don't.
5-bolt Hayes compatible rotors sound useful.
The other option to replace the outer casing with the newer six-bolt version - 35 Quid is about CDN$80 using todays exchange rate, that still seems pretty good for a 'new' hope hub.
EDIT: Having said that, it looks like you could get a new Hope hub, for $85. http://wiggle.co.uk/v2_product_detail.asp?ProdID=4000000846
