ya i tried that last night while riding and all it did was make fork super bottomable and the rebound would take a few seconds for it to fully come back

also when i let the air out last night some yellow foamy stuff came out of the air chamber...this seems to me like it shouldnt be oil or grease or whatever it was coming out of the air chamber

im thinking maybe its to heavy weight of an oil and once it get colder it thickens up, does this make sense?

How cold is it there? And what weight oil are you using?

The Dirt Jam uses an MCU (elastomar) spring element which is temperature sensitive. When the temperature drops the MCU gets stiffer. This would seem to explain your situation.

I don't know for sure but I suspect that you way be able to upgrade the fork to dirtjumper internals (full coils) by buying the appropriate parts.

As for the oil coming out of the air valve, this is pefectly normal for marzocchis as they don't have seperated air/oil chambers.
