I have an 04 Flick and at low speeds it I can bottom it by lifting the front wheel and smacking it down hard. Still happens with compression all the way up.
It feels perfect otherwise! It's not a problem on the trail but I'm thinking maybe the compression cart has too little oil - I've heard Manitou is super sensitive to oil heights. I've run the firm spring in the past, but it was too harsh for me at 140lbs. Thoughts?

I havent ever worked with tpc before but with the spv oil plays a very little role....thats why i prefer marz internals, so much better

i am going to argue with you, it all comes down to personal prefernce..i have ridden both and amrz builds a superior fork imo

Absolutely. These days it's pretty hard to find a company that makes bad forks.....unlike 5 years ago. The old XVert's had top caps that would pop off if you landed too hard!
Let people ride what they wanna....
Now about ny sherman...

my friends u can just push down really hard and it will bottom but when u ride it omn the trail it doesnt bottom out because he just rides smooth....i borrowed his bike for a trail ride once and i bottomed it out twice at the strat of the ride then half way through i didnt at all.....i dunno if that makes sence.....what im getting at is,ride smooth....use your body to absorbe it!
