This is kind of unexpected, but I put the 8 ball onto its max travel settings and the tire keeps hitting the seat :stupid: 3-ft drop, seats meets tire. It's really annoying me. What can I do to make the back end stiffer without majorly tightening up the spring and raising the seat? I've already tightened it quite a bit and the seat it about 9" from the tire. I dont know how the hell it keeps touching :S Any ideas?

850 spring. The seat is already pretty high, any higher and it will start feeling like an XC bike. It shouldn't be going through this much travel to hit the seat. It must be using like 7.5 inches to hit it off a 2' drop.
Is it possible that the spring is losing its spring?

i read "8 ball" and i thought it would be an angry rant about how brodies suck and break alot.. i would say.. try sliding the seat forward on the rails..

The rebound works pretty nice. I way playing around with it on today, decided to keep it on slow cause otherwise it hops a bit too much.

when i had my 8-ball i had the same problem. 8" travel with an 850 pound spring and the tire rubbed of 3-5 foot drops. at that time i only weighed about 110 pounds! i blew the shock 3 times in 4 months. i just left it on 6" cuz i had no clew how to fix it. try pulling your seat forward and up a little?

take the spring out and move the suspension through its travel. Then you make adjustments to seat to move it just out of the way
