this year i'm trying to get back to shooting more graphic stuff, less wide-open-portraits-with-the-50-1.4.

self-portrait at arms length. no cropping, just a fluke that it turned out focused properly:

downtown seattle:

a chic condo, site of new years party:

my pathfinder saturated to the hilt:

a christmas ornament, lights on the tree in the background:

ok that's enough for now. comments and criticism appreciated. all with my 20D and various lenses, with the last one notably at iso 3200 + pushed a bit

Wow

Nice shots, my favourite is the pathfinder one :d. What gear do you have (mainly lens wise  )?

lenses used, as they appear:

canon 50/1.4
sigma 12-24
canon 28/1.8
sigma 12-24 again
sigma 180 macro

i also have the lovely canon 135/2L, which is my favorite lens. i tend to favor ultrawide more than telephoto at least for non-portraits tho... hmm.

in my opinion the pathfinder one looks the best out of all of those. The colours are so bright. The headphone one is a pretty cool shot too but it looks like your wire is falling apart.;)

please expand. i'm interested in your criticism. do you feel that the shot has no merit in terms of color, composition, etc.? do you judge everything based entirely on its subject?
