Ea70! 80$ can, Its alot lighter than the diabolus and just as strong. The diabolus bar is nice, but i would thake the ea70 over it.

I have been pretty happy with the FSA DH-400. I also have heard good things about Easton and Titec bars (well the older Titec stuff) but have not personally used either.

The diablous looks like a pretty sweet bar but so does the easton. I know that easton does a lot of high stress testing on their stuff so the easton bar is probably really strong not too sure about race face but its probably the same. Go and test out a diablous and an easton ea70 and see what one feels nicer. By test I mean hold on to them and get the feeling for what they feel like unless your bike shop will let you throw them on your bike for a short test.

Went nose heavy on the second to last table top. The bike continued to flip and bounce down the trail, bending the rails on my Brooklyn Machine Works saddle, cracking my Mad Max, and leaving me with a third degree seperation of my left shoulder. But my Monkey Lite DH bars were fine, chipped off some clear coat but other than that fine. And Easton will test them for me anytime I choose to send them in. I highly recomend them if your looking to save some weight. I also recomend Oxycodone if you crash:D

Haha, that made me laugh cause you quoted his first hand experience of strength with an "apparently"

No diss, but I found it pretty funny.

I've been happy with my Funn fatboy slims, but they're oversized. Currently getting some miles on .243.

I like the Bontrager XXX DH bars personally. They are cro-mo so they have some flex and they don't fatigue like alu. PLus they are super-wide if you're looking for something more than the standard 27"-28". They are heavy though. Not what you'd expect from a company like Bontrager

EA70 OS w/2" rise is my choice for fit, quality and value. Answer ProTaper 2" would be my second choice, but cost more dinero.

Diabolus has a little more back sweep and is only available in 1.5" rise. Doesn't suit me, but nice bar though.

i found the bontrager bars had no sweep to them at all. it was like using a hokcey stick for a bar.

personal choice, protaper with 2 inch rise, tied with a ea 70 with a 2 inch rise

have run both recently and am currently using the ea70/vice stem combo as i wasn't able to get the pro tapers in OS
