ok, I know nothing about snowboarding. At all. Nothing. So laugh now when I tell you this.

I was in a real hurry at the ski swap, and I was pissed off cause people get grabbing boots I wanted, so I grabbed a nice pair, tried them on, and bought them. My friend who has snowboarded for years was like yah buy these.

I didn't think of it at the time but they say Haven SI on them, hence stepin. I dont have stepin bindings. What the hell was I thinking. I can't return them. The only thing that I can tell is fucked up with them is that the strap on the boot is in a shitty spot to make it annoying to do up my bindings and I'll take that off and just ride them with my bindings cuase I'm ghetto like that. They look normal on the bottom?

I'm a fucking twat.

Just use like a hacksaw or grinder and make them into normal boots.

what step-in style are they? Can you just get the associated bindings?

well never buy stepins ok!!! if anything actually using a grinder would be better!@!@!if you are do tricks and rail and or manuls your foot will come right out! i have seen it happen to people before goign mach 3 as i wacthed there failing body fly down the hill with one boot in:thepimp:

They are Burton Haven SI's. They fit in my bindings fine, and I am so poor and I don't even care anymore, I'm gonna use them in my ratchets.
The step in binding for them is Burtons 3d shit. The boots are just a bit stiffer than soft boots, and I took the supporting straps off, cause obviously thats what ratchet bindings do. It all boils down to me being so ghetto.

I had to do that for a season. It sucked. Although those step-ins might fit fine in your regular bindings, the siffer boot is definately gonna make an uncomfortable difference. Props to being ghetto though. :thepimp:

Yeah Man. Step in boots suck. Way back in the day I rented a board with stepins and they hurt like heck, I just hope I can get used to this.
