I've got a pair of the FS version, mounted with axial carbon bindings. Overall they are a great park and groomer ski, but in powder they aren't the greatest, I find that they have too much flex in deep snow.

I got the bindings for free as I tore the toe piece out of my scratch 100 bindings on the first day out. Seeing as they don't make the carbons any more the next closest binding would be axial pro 120, which is around 230 U.S. Bindings are quite important so I wouldn't cheap out on em'.
But if you don't want to go too expensive look around for the scratch combo it they still have it. I got my scratches with the scratch bindings for 700.

some of the sickest tele riders around here are all on PRs or scratches. really is quite cool.
the local "canadian tire of sporting goods" store here sells the bc/fs scratches for 350ish all the time. they cant seem to sell any...its quite strange. around here though...EVERYONE is on a PE or PR...
