the symetry of skiing appeals to me. the asymetry of snowboarding repels me.
also, skiing feels more logical to me... i feel twisted when i snowboard... i guess it's because i grew up playing hockey.
also, and this is sort of hard to explain, skiing feels connected-with-nature... i guess i think it an evolutionary dissadvantage to have my feet tied together.
these are all silly reasons, but they add up to me being a far better skier than a snowboarder.

Ski:D
I'm sure I would probably enjoy boarding if I tried it, although I doubt I'd like it as much as skiing. However, I only get out skiing a half dozen or so times a year, so I really don't see the point in learning something new now.

I love skiing, but I'll probably board a few times this year just cause I want to. Pretty much just skiing though

is there anyone on here that can 3 on both ski/board? is it easier or harder on skies?

Boarding hurts me when I bail...the whole not coming off the boad and being flailed about....but then gain I havnt been on skis since I was about 5. Id like to try them out again. But i prefer crazy carpets to anything, so very fast.
