getting the steel removed from my foot. i'll be off it for 2 - 3 weeks to let the wound heal. the bones are fine, just the screw holes need to fill in.

mine is designed to stay in for life if it doesn't give me any problems. but the location of the plate and screws sucks because it's right below my ankle joint and its drives me nuts. so the specialist said they should just take it out now that the heel bone is totally healed up.
