I recieved this email from "Jimmy Bravo" in Austrailia. The funny thing is is that I don't have any fork for sale and since when have we had states and zip codes in Canada? :rolleyes: Has anybody else recieved an email from "Jimmy"? Maybe I should have some fun with this? Suggestions welcome

It's actually a sophisticated scam (although Jimmy's grammar wouldn't key you to that), the point of which is both to get your personal information and to have you try to cash a bogus check which your bank will then stick you for the fees on. It's been worked in the states on folks selling spendy road bikes and vintage cars to name the two that I've read about...

Does anybody here know of someone that has been taken by one of these scams? It must work if there are so many people who have recieved various forms of these emails.
