I have the chance at getting either a 2002 Gemini team w/Romic frame with DeeMax rims or a 2004 Stinky w/swinger 6way and D321 wheelset. What would you take? I'm thinking of the gemini because of the weight savings as I do a bit of long distance trail riding. Let me know! my mind is tied.

Does Cannondale have a warranty? I'd lean toward the Gemini

I'g do with the 04 Kona overall? a 2 year old Gemini could fail sooner than later and it wont have a floater to my knowledge.

I'm not a Kona fan but I would go with the Kona over the Cannondale. Unless it's gonna be used for trail/epic rides and light freeriding (no huge drops).

Pedal feedback sucks a huge nut. You almost couldn't pay me to ride a med-high single pivot frame without an elevated chainline.

both have the same fork 03 Boxxer team. Yeah that's what I was thinking the pedaling on the Gemini wouldn't be that great but I can't decide if the saved weight makes all that much of a difference to take it over the kona.
My local trails are made up of anything from 3 ft to 15ft drops. hmmmmmm......

maybe without stable platform but how about with a 5th ?
one of the crew rides a bullit with a 5th and shiver ,nice bike
he told me the gemini pedals/corners/handles way better than his bullit .SO where is the bullit better asks I ?? After long pause he sez " maybe in the air ,doing jumps, the bullit feels more solid?"
an older gemini isnt gona have stable platform

the stinky is a good bike i rode the crap outa my 01 frame :D and they get way better every year. the stinky is more of a passive travel bike. its not SUPER active compared to lots of others.
