View Full Version : formal apology

Zaskar

i'd like to make a formal apology to the nsmb mods and members for my post concerning dylan. i was told by anonymous sources that the banning of Dylan was for a large part due to the WTA's racial connotations. this i have learned, is NOT true. dom, cam, mulletron, jsinclair, etc. did not ban them with any racial discrimination issues in mind. the mods are some of the most leanient guys you'll ever have moderating and to try and pin a racism accusation on these guys was stupid.

i myself did not start this rumour, i was told by a number of people and by the time i posted something about it I assumed it was common knowledge and for that, true. i have since learned that is not the case.

i'd hope that others who thought it was a racist issue would join me in an apology as NSMB's reputation is not something to be taken lightly.

thank you.
cam.

It takes one hell of a person to publicly admit to a mistake and to appologize rationally for their actions. I have a lot of respect for what you have said Cam.

Apology accepted entirely on my part.:)

Good job Cam, big balls, we are all impressed. If the majority of the board members could step up to the plate we would never have any incidents like this. Keep your head up you just earned a few extra brownie points.

haha, it's funny cause Dylan actually is racist, I mean shit read what he wrote about McDnk on the front page of WAT, ahhahha. Don't get me wrong thohg, I ema I'm part asian but I love thta kid, he's funnee!!!!!!!

This entire issue has NOTHING to do with racism. Nobody from nsmb.com implied ANYTHING about WTA and racism...only users did.

It is blatantly obvious that WTA has NO racial connotation in the context that everyone is so interested in. I don't know when people decided that that was the issue, but they are wrong.

That would be it in a nutshell.

Can't we just leave this topic alone, let it die? dylan doesn't care...why should anyone else? He's gone - done :)

I was just trying to clarify so people could stop babbling on about something that nobody but themselves care about anymore.

It is done.
