There are three ladder bridge rides on Will's Way.

About 7 to 10 days ago, someone purposefully broke rungs on these ladders. The last ladder, which was built only a few months ago, had a lot of rungs sawed/hacked right in the middle.

All these structures have been VERY well built. I often see training groups practising on them as they are built well, and because they are also easy and safe.

I would think on Seymour we wouldn't have this kind of situation, but I guess we do.

If anyone has any knowledge of who is doing this, I'd like to know. This problem needs be rectified.

that blows. that's a sweet little section.

it's pretty crazy that someone would bother to mess with stuff that was obviously not an eyesore or a danger.

either kids or some trail-nazi type?

i know no posting directions but where on the mountain is this trail? upper, middle or lower? there was a shifty guy hanging around Corkscrew and Incline when i was walking back up Corkscrew on Weds. not sure if the trail was near there.

Directions - dumbest unwritten rule of all.

It's a short trail that starts on the west end of Bridal Path and connects to the starting section of Hyannis. Nice exit to Hyannis if you're heading west on Bridal, and a good little section for beginners.

I know the guys whose doing the work in there has had a resident complain about him doing work in there. He mentioned that the district said no work was to be done on the trails. I think Will's Way might all be JUST in the LSCR so this has no right to complain.

I don't know who would do this damage though. All we can do is go in and fix it...
