The District has worked over the past few months with various stakeholder and user groups and the general public to develop the Vision and Value statements and to identify the Issues and Opportunities for the Mountainside region. Building upon our earlier success, and following the principles of the established Vision and Values, the objective for this Open House will be to present the analysis and synthesis of recently completed environmental studies and to outline a "draft" proposal for a series of Management Zones and a Strategy for addressing the issues and managing recreational demand and growth in the Mountainside/Alpine area of the District.

Please plan to attend this meeting and to provide your valuable

and constructive feedback upon the "draft" proposal.

yup, me too.

i seriously recommend anyone to come out. it was Very Interesting last time. mainly to hear the viewpoints of the other groups (hikers, equestrians, etc) and also to be part of the process.

if you want to understand and potenisally shape, the politics of what's happening, you have to come out to this one. :)

Are late comers welcome? Or are they sort of frowned upon?

I'll try to make it too. It would be nice to get a good turnout like the first district council meeting.

Should we get someone to break into the cars in the parking lot?

This will be more important than any trail day you've been to.

I would definitely be there is it wasn't for a few thousand miles...

Maybe you could mention that hundreds of riders from the UK visit Canada each year just to ride the Shore trails and WBP ?

Good luck anyway

:)
