I'd like to firstly give a huge thank you to the 40 people who showed up ready to work on one fine Sunday. Also, a thank you to the many riders who donated some of their time as they were riding by.
We accomplished a lot with the help of everyone. Not to overshadow anyones work but the highlight <to me> would be the drainage work Simon and his crew finished. They turned a seasonal mudlands into what looks to be a sustainable pass over.
Things are starting to look great as the Shed Trail is taking place nicely. Simon Says is up and running again with a 2 optional log rides leading to a swivel teeter then to 2 line choices to finish - one ending with a skinny to coaster to hip. The Goat Jumps are looking pretty prime after the loving they received during the trail day while Goats is just a sweet piece of reconstructed work.
For those who read this and have yet to visit the Shed or cant due to distance, Goats was mainly 2 different log rides that was chainsawed a while ago. Recently it has come back to life using the same chainsawed logs with some ingenious hard work.
The day was capped off with a good BBQ in the Meadow.
I'm awaiting some pictures from the Trail Day and I'll find a way to post them when I get them.
Thanks again to everyone who came out :rocker: Cant wait for the next one in October.
