Some guy sent me a random email. I don't know who he is, but he seemed to have had a good ride around the Island this summer.

He's a guy in the outdoor club at sfu. I talked to him at a table at club days. So, if you joined the outdoor club, thats probably how you ended up with the e-mail. maybe i'll see ya around!

You guys should ride up the mountain every day. Imagine the shape you'd be in!

I was thinking of going to SFU, but then opted for UVic instead. You've got this crazy egg-looking sculpture in your quad...

Anyway, I just graduated from UVic, and am super happy to be done school. Happy studying!

That makes more sense now. I think I talked to Jason or Jonathan or somebody else from the outdoor club. And yes I joined so I guess I'll see you around...

Hey, he has the same jersey as me (I have two - one black and one blue), so he can't be all that bad.
Hell, anybody that can lug all of that uphill and control himself on the descents is A-OK.

Last summer I rode from Victoria to Oregon on my bike...I had a bob trailer though. It was super fun, except that the BOB would get speed-wobble quite often, so I was careening down hills all the time and it was really stressful. I think if I were to do it again, I'd do it like buddy in the pic, and just strap everything to my bike.

Ya, I lug my BOB down to my local trails (30mi. r/t) on occaision when I'm doing a full-day of work...no climbing out of the saddle 'cuz it just makes the bike too shaky to control and the descents can be a little hairball at times.
I should probably stop exceeding the weight limit for it, but I'm not even sure what the max recommended weight is.:P
