i have looked into so many bikes lately cause i want to get of my ht. i think the dirtbag with the dangerboy upgrade might be what im looking for. i was wondering what size you guys think i should get, im 6'1 and will probably grow another 2 or so. im thinking a medium but maybe a large???

I'm 5'10" and ride a 17" medium with the danger boys. Top tubes are on the short side 21.5 on the 17" and 23" on the large. I use an integrated stem in the longest position (65mm?) and it fits to a tee. The new large 04's are 18.5" ( 19" for the 03's) on the seat tube. Email Kevin at Transition he's 6'2" and rides a large, he'll answer all your questions. Or pm mudpuppy on the boards he just picked up a new 03 large frame.

I am 6'3" or 4" and I ride a 03 large, great size for me, but I would not want it any larger. The new Large may work for ya, it all depends on how you like your bikes.

I'm 6'5"+, and am enjoying my '04 Large. Dunno if the Dangerboys are necessary or just a luxury - the stock 6" feels pretty deep. If you haven't had the chance to ride one, there are two things that the specs don't really show: the BB is quite low - a 24" rear and an '03 Slider combined to ding my pedals and try and break my toes - and the chainstays feel pretty long.

I'm guessing the DB plates work well with a 24" rear by changing the geo a bit and raising the rear/BB.

it says on the site some where the danger boy plates were made to not change the geo or bb height but give you more travle..
