Well, if you have a Blue Groove, it is a front spec. tire, the Nevegal can be both.
You have no other use for the Blue Groove other than a front tire, so you should run it.
Its a great tire!

Yeah, pretty sure that's what Corey meant.
Nevegal is like a Maxxis High Roller, or Michilen Comp24. Blue Groove is like a Michelin Comp32.

i know a guy that runs blue groove front and back and rips, but i'd recommend the blue for front and nev for back. it's what i've been using this whole season and i haven't had one gripe about traction.

Dual Neve's wouldn't be bad, but I really like by BG up front...I've heard some gripes about how they're "overrated" and not a great front tire, but they hook up, they wear well, and they won't pinch flat...I'd say try the suggested Neve rear BG front set-up, and I don't think you'll be upset, I bloody love them, yesterday was my first day out in the slop with them, and they are unreal, it's like having studed tires in the ice...

The Tomac series with the Kevlar bead have noticeably thinner sidewalls. Running lower pressures isn't an option. Perhaps some people are trying to run these versions for FR/DH?
I like the thin cased versions in the 2.3". I run 25psi, and it both rolls well and gives excellent grip.
The larger, DH case version of the 2.5/2.7 has much stronger sidewalls, and is definitely the one to get for riding on harsh terrain.,
