Hahaha what the??!? Man that's an old photo. I'm my own worst critic, and boy I'm pretty critical of that shot :D How did Warwick and Chris Hanna's shots lose out to the photo that was selected as #1? This just reinforces my opinion that people don't know a good photo when they see one. Call me a snob, or better yet a critic with an educated-eye. Warwick's shot nails the lighting and framing. The rider in the winning photo is barely doing more than a dead-sailor. Perhaps the hugeness of the gap is what the voters saw? Thanks for the props though! One day in the near future I'll post some new stuff. It's been a while... Chris we need to hook up again soon and get some stuff!

Ya #1 wasn't the best... :(
The judges were all dirtjumpers so the most impressive jump was always bound to win over the best photo.
However - the current competition on Vorb is a real mountain bike photo comp - judged by photographers - check it out here => http://www.*************/postt13907.html

I definately have to agree about Warwicks photo, I mean thats a pretty sick shot. The #1 shot there is just dumb if you ask me, extremely bad lighting and colouring, wow, its a big jump with whisps of dust, BIG DEAL. Who's voting anyways. hehe enough rambling from me. Good shot from you though fergs.
