Nope, my sled is in the shed. Plus, I don't think I would wanna ride with someone that has Ass Destruction in their Avatar

could be my ex's ex bike. she had it for sale at the sports swap for a while, not too many turners with shivers on them around

yup.

she's basically given up riding and her riding friends b/c of her new boyfriend, he has some control issues. she made a real step up with this one. the chic needs some help.

btw, how do you know her?

It's my mate Bryan.
He bought Jen's bike on Wednesday and we christened her up on Fromme.
He got a great deal!

If her boyfriend is a tall guy, with curly (girly?) long hair; I know what you mean. We picked the bike up off him, and were getting a freaky vibe.

i made a huge effort a while back to try and get her back on her feet. logic said i should have just walked away - but i didn't and it caused me a whole nother world of hurt. it's amazing how much love you can have for the person you beleive is right for you. i just hope things work out, i have a lingering fear it's gonna go bad for her and i don't want to have to be there to help pick up the pieces. lord knows what i'll do if she gets hurt tho.

She's a friend of Kristen's, who's friend of some friends of ours, and an ex (Kristen is) of a riding buddy (Tom). I've only met her a couple of times. Too bad she gave up riding, she came out and ripped it up on Eagle last year. It sucks when people stop being themselves for someone else.

Well I guess we've found out who's bike it is, we can hijack the thread!

Sometimes you just have to walk away and live for yourself, not someone else. Be selfish and pick up your own pieces, life's too short to be unhappy.

Yup, I don't know them that well, but I've heard enough stories to make me shake my head in wonder. Tom seems like a good guy, he's better off without her.

it's gonna be a while, but a year in the forest by myself has helped a lot. the trail has been great way to keep busy and my mind mostly off the whole thing

thats why i like trail work the best.even moreso than riding for such circumstances because you can have a great time building by yourself, whereas solo rides are usually less fun.

Ha, I'm on Johnson just above Panorama, across from the tennis courts. I actually don't ride Eagle that much, most of what we build is beyond my riding level, but I'd like to get up there and try it more. We'll chat Sunday.
