On the bright side, that's one less mechanical you have to cope with...that many more mechanical-free rides await you!

I had a fun road ride w/ a 25lb. BOB trailer hooked up to my bike and a full-bladdered camelbak on my back. 50k round-trip with a 5 hr. trail-work sesh in the middle. I've never cut so many nettles in my life.
No chainstay section yet, so I'm riding the road bike back to the trails tomorrow to work some more. This time w/o the trailer. I'd imagine I'll feel much faster tomorrow.

I have a date with fromme this weekend sometime if the weather isn't too bad. probably do a solo foray with high pain thresh on the way up, then go nice and careful on the way down the trails sketch hardtail style. I will ride in rain a bit, but not pouring. may do urban tomorrow night even. :)
