from my understanding is that they were going to build a trail from the CBC paking lot so that bikers wouldnt have to go by the tower anymore. not sure of a name and not sure if its built or being built.

the only thing i've seen is the new entrance to the right of the gate. you don't have to go down by the tower anymore.

ahh not really new. there is some single track abouve cbc, but its not really a trail. just a path through grass.

there is that new entrance which i saw a lot of people not looking at it with much confidence when entering cbc this last weekend.

as per the new trail from the top? if you wanna know the status, drop sharon or lee or jeremy a message and ask one of them...they would know best-est :)

i rode the new entrance today. seemed fine. you could tell it was new. the transition into cbc is flawless as well. it took me a while to realize that i was already on cbc after looking for an intersection for the first couple minutes down the trail.

its fun hittin' that new entrance at mach speed from the road then hittin' ur front tire on a stump and flipping over your bars into the soft warm soil :P I coulda had a nap there ;)

just ride

i dislike that trail  those stupid 'humps' , first one i went into the bush beside it, second one a big stick sticking out of the ground went into my front end and i went over the bars and like a good 3-4 feet to my face/ thumb, tore the skin that connects from under my thumb nail.. that hurt :(

It can't be too much of a secret, every time I've been in the CBC parking lot this year I've seen at least one truck full of bikes heading further up the hill. I've never been up to try and find it, I figure if it's a legal trail I'll find out sooner or later, and if it's an illegal trail it'll be closed down pretty quick and we can thank the builders and riders for jeopardizing riding on Seymour.

It's not that great I wouldn't waste my time on it again way too much effort. Plus there is a coax cable that runs down a good section of trail for what seemed like a 100yrds or so, I'm sure who ever owns that cable loves to know they are going to have to spend money repairing it cause a bunch on mountian bikers are riding over it. Just my 2cents.

its not a new trail, its just the power line from CBC corner up to the tower above the parking lot, sheesh!

Its ok to ride and that co-ax is dead..

Freehopscotch? Nothing stretches the legs like a good freehopscotch session after a few intense hours of freechess.

maybe digger made it and told like one person about it. like in the documentary on tv little while back, he'll break you pinky if you tell...

hahaha it's seriously nothing.

i would rather just park at the cbc lot and ride down the road to cbc, the last time i parked further up top i got a warning ticket.

...and i dont see any problems with the new cbc entrance? :???: am i missing something?

i saw that. if i'd known the cove was making so much money i would've bought my bike somewhere else. or at least somewhere closer to where i live. for tune-ups you see.

does anyone know if digger ever acted on any pinky's as previously mentioned???
