So i get my fork i sent away over a month ago, back today. It was refused by a hardware store in Elmwood New Brunswick. I sent the fork to a guy in Moncton. TOTALLY different addresses. So now i need to sell my fork again and im out all the shipping money. Im suprised they even got the right fucking province...
Post up your hellish shipping stories.

Why did you send your fork to a hardware store?

thats so stupid that they made that big of a mistake in the shipping address. they probably couldn't read the address properly. stupid post office. you should send it registered, i remember reading something that if its registered and it goes to the wrong place they send it for you again for no charge on your part. Im not a hundred percent sure on that so check into it before just taking what i have to say cause it was a year or more ago that i read that.

No complaints...they have all been good and when Canada Post screwed up the one time...i just gave them a call and they were happy to refund my money and still ship the package.

I didnt. I sent to a guy named Oliver in Moncton. It was delivered to a hardware store in a different city.

you got effed over royally, id be right up in their f-bombing faces getting my money back- it was their mistake they should fix it.
they *lost* my frame, now if i were them and had a packed Insured for, and COD for well over a grand theres no way id be making mistakes, but did they, oh yes. so my package that was supposed to get here in 2-3 days took like 6. paid for extra shipping and everything.. sat on my ass for 3 days straight waiting for it to get here.. hope i never have to ship anything ever again.

sometimes in small towns, deliveries are dropped off at 'depots' in smaller stores. Seems like your buyer didnt want to pick it up.
I've had great experiences with Canada Post - sent a pair of forks to the Netherlands - sent them Wednesday night at 5:00 PM in Squamish, my friend had them in his hands Friday night in the Netherlands!

ya im still waiting for the collective too, you think it wouldn't take 10 days to get to calgary...
Great experiences with Canada Post.
I can't stand UPS. I hate how you can't go pick it up from a UPS depot, you HAVE to be home at what ever strange time they decide to deliver it.
How the hell is some one with a full time job supposed to be home at 1:00pm to accept a package??

I love this "hey I want to screw the local bike economy by buying gear from another country and Im to cheap to pay the taxes imposed upon me for doing this" thread.
Retail prices in bike shops are aimed at and because of people like you.A good customer pays 10 to 40 percent below what the tag says.Worth thinking about, aint it......;)
