I know everyone loves these posts, so here goes....

Right now I run a '03 SuperT on my BigHit with 6" kit (8" soon) however last year I crashed and slightly dented my lowers at the seal lip. I ordered the parts in early April, but Norco is still back-ordered (go figure) and my fork has started leaking.

I'm over 200 with equipment and although I don't go huge, I have found myself bottoming more more than I used to (with full oil). I ride a bit of everything, NS type trails, DJ, DH and Urban.

got specs from Marzocchi (weight includes steerer, no axle or stem)...

SuperT - 170mm, 6.9lb, 558mm tall
Shiver - 190mm, 8.4lb, 572 tall
888r - 200mm, 7.1lb, 575 tall
Monster - 200mm, 12.0lb, 593mm tall

My friend just bought the 888 and they feel great in the parking lot, however being that I'm just over 200lb, I'm wondering if either a Shiver or Monster would be better choice strength wise. What's the pros / cons?

So far from what I've read ... everyone is saying 888r's are tall, but by the specs, there just 3mm more than a shiver, and shorter than a monster?

Monster is terribly heavy, maybe too heavy ... but still just 5lb more really, is it gonna criple me?

I'm told Shivers are vulnerable to lowers getting damaged and flexy?

Everyone seems to tell me get one not the other ... nobody is in agreeance. Any info greatly appreciated!
