... it's another which tire thread. Apologies in advance, did a tire search, lots on wet slippery conditions tires but mostly squat on summer tires.

Wanted peoples opinion on what are some of the best hard pack/ dry, rocky conditions tire. Say more of a Kamloops tire than a North Shore tire.

Mobster is the only one I've used that worked worth a damn so far, but wanted to broaden my horizons. 60 duro is best for me (read: I'm cheap).

I am running Highrollers with the GHETTO tubless set up and it is freaking awesome!!!

You can run a slightly lower pressure giving you way more grip and no worries of flatting.

I recommend the following link.
http://bb.nsmb.com/newforum/showthread.php?s=&threadid=36704&highlight=latex

Follow the instructions given by shmity and Baloom

You can get liquid latex from Micheals (A craft store) buy liquid latex mold maker($15), 2 bmx tubes($5ea) and you will completely change the feel of your tires. And this change is totally for the better.

FYI I have ridden the tires at Whistler all day top to bottom with absolutely no problems (drops, jumps, rocks......everything the hill has to offer).

I cannot recommend this setup more.

BTW I run Mavic 321's with 2.5" Highrollers.

Any questions?

Hey Dude,

I'm happy to hear that the cheapo tubeless thing is working for you. Glad to have another convert (i don't need to preach to you because you have experienced the benefits of this setup). I have been to Whistler a halfdozen times and not one flat. And like you I ride everything up there. Everyday that I have been up, at least one or more of the people I am with have at least one flat running conventional setups. Their solution is usually to increase the pressure in their tires which results in poor tire performance and traction on the dry conditions up there. I just keep trucking along. It's strange how I have yet to convince a single on of these guys to make the switch. I guess I'm just a failure at sales. I will just continue to let the performance of my setup do the talkin' for me.

I could not agree with you more.

Listen to Baloom, he speaks the truth.
