Ive had my Shiver for about 3 years now and its still on the original seals and bushings. In fact, the only maintenance I've done is changing oil every 6 months or so. This fork must've seen at least 1200 hours of year-round riding on the Shore and its still running perfectly.

Do I have a magic fork or is this normal for Shivers? I woulda thought the bushings would go pretty quick since its inverted. I've been considering a 888 for next year but maybe the magic Shiver is worth holding onto. Waddya think?

Seals will last longer if they are consistantly wet. Hence, the inverted seals keep on working.

Sounds par with most Shiv's. They are tough forks and require very little attention.

I have had my shiver for a year, due to injuries only like 7 months on it though, amazing fork, all I do is bleed the air out of it every few rides, then it performs like new again.

if you've had such good luck with yours, why even consider selling it ??

i'd stick with it...
