I figure I'll sort out my oil leakage problem (here (http://bb.nsmb.com/newforum/showthread.php?s=&threadid=43708&highlight=slider+oil) ) and do a total tear down of the forks while I'm at it. I bought them used, and haven't looked at them since I bought them, so I figure it's probably a good idea to give them a check over.
What will I need? I've got 5w fork oil, but it's not synthetic.
My question is regardig the semibath oil, will I need different oil for this? The manual says I need 5-40wt semibath oil, but I'm not sure if that means the oil weight can be 5 to 40 weight, or what :???:
Also, are there any weird tools I'll need? I have keys, metric, imperial sockets etc.
If I'm taking the spring assembly out of the left leg, what do I grease it with? I have the manitou brand lube I used to have to put in my old fork through those injection ports... is this what they would want, or can I just use something generic like the park tools grease?
Thanks in advance!!!
