So the kid was starting to go bigger at Whistler this past weekend. So big that I was bottoming out my '04 Shiver.

About two months ago, I put in three oil-cap fulls of fork oil into each stanchion. I wasn't bottoming it out back then but I had heard that Marz shipped their forks with the oil height a little low.

In Whistler on Sat, I went to the Marz trailer for them to look at the oil height because I started to bottom it out. They told me that my Shiver was three inches low:eek: ! YIKES, says I.

I have not noticed any residue on the fork legs so I don't think that they are leaking. I guess that my forks were shipped VERY low of oil from the factory.

You cats out there with new Marz forks might want to check the oil height...just in case.

yah when they ship them off they put very little oil in their forks. i dont know why, but even the person at the Marzo tent at whistler told me that. my fork feels way better now that i got new oil put in it, it was extremely low too. (i have a 888r btw)

My 04 Shivers were shipped with HALF the recommended stock oil. Imagine how much money they save doing that.

Dump the stuff in there, and fill to your preferred height.
