My friends have convinced me to go do the dance thing once again. They better go to whistler with me on saturday then! Idiots, they really need to step it up a notch when it comes to being out-going. They're actually computer nerds! I know computer geeks that are more outgoing...sometimes I wonder.
i wonder if any of you dorks will show up this time
anyways, i'm moving this weekend so no go for me.

Hey this Dork was there with 5 other Dorks and we left at ??? time to go north to some really Dorky spots where a Dorky time was had by all.
Actually sorry we missed you. I'll try to get the fellows to rein it in and wait a bit longer.
I'm going for a ride right now, at the gallery by 6:30pm, maybe Adam (the other Adam) will be there riding trials again, come with if you can.
Paul
yea i just missed you guys last week. the skater dude that was there said you took off 5 minutes before i got there. :(

you have no stem? i have a really nice used ROOX stem (80mm, black) and bar if you want either or both.
Faithless
07-23-2004, 04:22 PM
well what happened, was i went to the midnight madness sale and bout a ea70 which was on sale for 50, then i found out i needed an oversized stem. so on wed i called jh and asked if they had the hussafelt stem in 60 mm, they had 1 left, and there sale was on thursday. but i couldn't go thursday because school ends at 12, and i worked at 3-10. So I was gonna go hop on the bus today, but before I did, i called them and they only have the 80 mm left. and because i was gonna treck down that way (98 b-line to seabus to whatever) its lost hope, because i told my brother i was going to vancouver to buy a part and was gonna hang out a old friend who lives out there.
currently my bike has a stem and handlebars, but the bars are bent, and i need the bike to trek back and forth from work, so i dont wanna risk anything. But right now im actually still considering going, but my brother will probably ask 20 questions and get suspicious and ill get whiped.
Faithless
07-23-2004, 04:25 PM
ps, they had it for 40 dollars, and plus i called alot of other shops, and they dont have the size i need (the 60mm which is about a good midsized one)

Yeah, I'm just going because my friends really want me to head out. It's not like they can't go themselves. Oh well...one last night. Maybe it'll actually be fun this time around. And then I really should get back to urban because I miss it so much. Damn women and their hotness...

Well, I'm bringing this back up.
Dante, I'm glad that you snd your son are all good to go, and that you're on this side of the pond.
Majin, get your brother on a bike, so's we can kick his ass. I'm not even related and he's pissing me off. Seriously, maybe he needs to come and check out what we do, or meet some of us more mature folk...
Friday night Urban is a go for me. After Whistler, I am stoked to ride again. We have errands to run this week, but I'll make it a point to come out. Weather should be good too.

its funny because my brother thinks im a horrible biker because stuff break on my 96 hammer that i rode pretty hard on. Then when i upgraded my bike about 2 weeks ago (purchesed a mag30, new drivetrain, tires, brake pads, new handlebars) he never in his life believed that a bike just breaks apart. he wouldnt listen to my natural fatigue theory.
but im down this friday. Ill say im working.
sometimes i wished i lived with whistler brother because hes more leniant and understanding.
he use to buy and build bikes in 93-94 (he use to get rm hammers, and build them up all xtr, and stuff)
he was a bike person.

Blaine, I live in Surrey. Smack between Surrey Central and King George Skytrain stations. I might drive down tho, and park in Kits and then ride over and meet up. If I don't feel like driving the Van, I'll train it. I don't like to drive all that much really.
As for the ladies bit, it would be nice if some of the women on this board would come out. I know that many of them can hold their own, with us goons.
So ladies, any of you coming?

OK back agian is the incredible, ride animal....
Oh heck screw this:D
So I dropped off my bike at the Caps, cause it was high time to get the SuperT topped up and sorted out. No thanks to Marzocchi for this:mad: I also discovered that the "O" ring seal at the top of the shock body had popped out a little. Caps is going to inspect it and see if the seal was damamged. If not, then cool I MIGHT get my bike back by Friday. If it's pinched, then the shock goes to OGC for reapir. Either way it might not be until next Tues. before I get her back. Grrr. I guess that's what comes with shocker bikes eh... Oh well, if it comes down to it, I guess I can beg Elaine to use her bike. I'll let you all know what happens, and if I'll be up for Friday Night.
