I have the only "spy" shots out there of the 2005 Norco Shore.
I'll post them next week.
Hydro formed tubing (new).
12mm dedicated thru-axle hub.....and rear drop outs! (new)
Fox DHX rear shock (new)
E-13 guide made for the frame (new)
More Chris King...
The list goes on. You guys will like!

I wish..they are on a regular film camera. I have about 10 shots I took on Tuesday night...I was the second person to see the bike!
I need to have them developed and then scan them.
You guys will be pretty stoked. It is one hell of a bike...Super beefy and I'd say more refined than any Norco bike has been in the last 5 years.

wow steves amazing, but yeah why would norco sponsor that if hes riding a demo9:???:
corey@nsmb.com
07-08-2004, 10:55 AM
It is a segment of the video in which Steve is riding a Demo 9. The whole video isn't about Steve R!
They sponsor the video, and that was shown prior to Steve's feature. You know..part of the teaser?
You guys are so easy to confuse !

I've heard its supposed to resemble the 04 Team DH frame style? At least in regards to the low standover.
And I'm sold on that DHX shock even if I only rode it on the pavement. Butta. Smooth n Simple.

Yeah, similar in lower bb and standover, but the frame construction is different again. Norco dropped big bucks for a new mold for their tubing. Hydro formed tubing allows consistent wall thickness for more strength. The design allows an even shorter HT and thus, lower front end.
The down tube also curves near the bb...and the rear end is more beefy. Similar chainstays to the Team Race of 04, but the drop outs are now a true thru-axle design with stainless threaded inserts, and some serious material for strength.
It has the same adjustability as the 04 Race, you can adjust bb height independantly from travel via the shock mount cam. Very cool.
The DHX is killer.
The Shore is now available only as the Shore...no Team, BUT it somes in both a dual chainring build (wine color) and a single ring build (light army green, very cool looking). 8" adjust. to 7".
The Race will be 9" and 8".

It is bigger than ever this year and being held at several different locations. It begins at Mt.Washington, travels to COP, then back east.
Check out the website.
Don't know if the 05 pre-production bike will be there or not.

Man I reallly liked the look of the 04 team DH, so I'm sure it'll kick ass, and once again Norco borrows a play from the specialized book...Hydroforming...Spec has been yacking it up for about ehat 3 years now? Well, it seems to work, so good on Norco.

Every year there's a "new Norco" bikes thread where we're told pics are coming in a couple days and then we end up waiting weeks before they come.
Definitely a conspiracy rooted deeply in the North Shore of Vancouver...

You guys are killing me!! They are in a pile on my kitchen table.
I showed them to Inshane last night...they are real.
I just do not have a scanner and in order to get them scanned, I have to drive out to my friends place in Burnaby...which is tough 'cause things are way too busy for me right now!
I'll pack the digi-cam and try to re-take some tonight if possible (ie: my pal is around to show me the bike again).
