I recently placed an order for EA70 bars on Bikeroom but it turns out they are backordered. Technically I haven't paid for them yet so I can easily cancel the order.
I went on the site today and noticed 25.4 Diabolus bars for sale. The Eastons are 84 bucks and the RaceFace are $72. I'm wondering if you think it would be wise of me to cancel my order and then order the Diabolus' with 12 bucks to spare. Being cheap, $12 isnt pocket change to me so I wouldn't mind extra money floating around here.
Basically, I'm wondering if you think the Eastons are worth the long wait and $12 extra over the Diabolus?
Thanks
both are great bars...
i'd go with the Diabolous and move on...
the EA70's are fantastic bars, but i dont think i'd wait weeks for em to arrive...
giv'r....:thepimp:

Both are decent. I prefer the feel of the Eastons, but you may not.

Shmoe, how do they feel different? Keep in mind this is the 25.4 Diabolus, not 31.8.

Go with the Diabolus. Save 12 bucks, get a kickass bar and no wait on shipping. Seems like a no-brainer too me.

Yeah it should be a no brainer, but I'm still wondering if the extra money and time would be worth better feel or strength?
I tried signing onto my account and it came up with this:

How about you decide according to what rise and width you need? Diabalous is 1.5" and 28", EA70 is 2.0" or higher and 27".

The bars will be cut down to 26" anyways so width makes no difference. As for the rise, the Eastons come in 3 different rises and I can get used to half an inch of difference anyway.
I think I'm gonna check to see if the problem was fixed right now...

Why would you pay $84 plus shipping for the EA70 bars, when they retail for $79.99 in the local bike shop. That's what they are in Vancouver anyways. Bikeroom will never sell Easton, because Easton won't sell to a internet store without a retail front, that is the policy of their new distributor.

I recently got a new set of Easton EA70 1.5" bars from eBay for around $60. So far I really like them. Sadly, a week after that auction ended, the guy was selling another new set of bars, and that auction ended up being $10USD less than the one I won.
Anyway, I'm sure you'll be equally satisfied with the Diabolus bars.

Because some people aren't fortunate enough to live in a beautiful place where bike stuff is inexpensive and good products are plentiful. ;)
I was also checking out eBay but I decided that I wanted to try Bikeroom out. Diabolus should behere by Tuesday. :)
