boxxer seals

how can i clean them out, to try and get some more use out of them. do you just jam a screwdriver in and pry them out or what? the dust needs to come out

i dont have boxxers but id say a tooth brush to start to clean em

you mean the dust seal or the oil seal?
the dust seal you can re-use, the oil seal($5 each) you have to replace everytime you take it out.

you pry out the dust seal with a small screw driver, and the oil seal is held in by a C clip, take the c clip off, and pry out the oil seal.

the dust seal is the one on the outside of the stanction wher eit joins the lowers? thats the one im after... so i jsut start prying ?

the dust seal is the one you can see, the oil seal is inside the lowers.

i would just change the oil while i'm at it. take top caps off, drain oil(remember to cycles the cartridges a couple times), unbolt the lower, slide it off, pry dust seal off (carefully, you're re-using them), take C-clip off, pry oil seal off and replace with new seals, reverse process to put it back together. Oil the inside and oil side of the seal before putting it in.
