Etown invades cowtown

Well on friday the 25th me and my buds packed up and set out for calgary sometime in mid afternoon. We were all excited to get riding as soon as we got there, but about 30mins out from Red Deer the clouds started to look nasty, and then about 10 mins later it started to rain. But little did we know this rain was a blessing in disguise! We all thought that are plans to ride would have to be cancelled, but when we phoned our contact in calgary we found out the rain had already passed and everything was beginning to dry! So our plans to ride were back on. When we got to calgary we decided to ride millenium which was empty because it was still drying, but was about 90% dry. Since it had just rained I guess all the skateboarders decided that it would be to wet there, so it was pretty much empty except for us, a couple skaters, and sammy-o and some bmxers. We had a session at millenium from about 9 or 10 till around 1ish.

The next day we decided to head to C.O.P and on the way there I finally got a chance to pick up some film for my camera. So instead of boring you with all the details of C.O.P I will just post the pictures :).

So is the pict of u on the jump that ate your fork taken on the 4x course for the world cup? I also see a lot of PVC plastic sticks that are all set up for the race. What is the 4x course like?

I have no idea what the pvc sticks are for, But I can say this, the 4x course is looking sweet. :D

I was in cowtown a few weeks ago, just checking it out and getting some rides in. Nice trail system, but way too short. You get into it and all pumped, then it stops!
