i have now joined the 243 nation and built myself up a 2004 small 243. all i can say is this bike rips. such a nice bike to mess around on.

there's a reason the combo is so popular

maybe it's just me, but i don't really give a f*ck about what other people are riding. 243 makes a frame that rides really nice and Flick/fireflys are the best single crown IMO

Get shimano BN-575??? mech disc they are the metallic blue caliper ones. they are $60-70 bucks. I run one on front and back of the 4 hun and they work great.

I have those on my ht they work quite well, I just need to get some new levers
