what are some ideal specs for tables....i'm a rookie trailbuilder and dont have any experience with dirt jumps. thanks

take a look at what some jumps look like form other builders and make sure to have the table farley wide.

Just make a huge pile of dirt and make it to what you want. Take a look at pics on PB or something to get an idea of angles and shit. There are different types of jumps too. Some are literally like verticle meant for height and tricks and others are more gradual and are not really meant for big tricks.

tables are a waste of dirt , just build a take off and landing. nad put ply wood inbetween it

tables=way too much work, unless u own a tractor

Hahahah, good measurements for one. You could build one 2 feet high and 10 feet long, or one 2 feet high and 2 feet long. Likewise you coul dbuild one 5 feet high and 25 feet long, or 5 feet high and 8 feet long.
Build it first, think steepness of the lip as your primary concern for how high you wanna go. Then just judge your speed properly coming into it and you're fine.

build i normal jump(double) then fill it with crap like couches, hays bails, etc. then put dirt on top
