Well VPS fest is on July 17. So it will be open then, but it says the summer season starts June 26th. I am not sure if that is bikes aswell. When I went up last year it was mid July and there was still snow around the top. But I am guessing biking will start in July. Sorry I can't help more then that.

Just for a quick update...
Mount Washington has their park crew working as fast as they can to get the trails open - One issue they have is compared to whistler - they have more snow and it stays later. The last week of solid hot weather is helping dry out the trails nice and fast. Keep checking their website for updated information.
The newest part this year is that the Hawk high speed Six Pack has been converted into a bike chair... and it's sweet! They bought Whistler bike racks for the chairs, and with the width of a 6-pack chair, they can fit 4 bikes across the chair - no hanging the 4th bike!
There are going to be a bunch of new trails this year. Helter Skelter runs down the steeps with rocks, drops, boardwalks and more. Big brother is a nice wide open run with some big hits and berms. A new biker cross course is in the works for the Sisu BC Cup finals coming in August.
A few new xc trails will nicely complement the dh trails, and one potential is that you could go up to the top with your xc friends and while they do a loop of the nice xc route, you can rip two runs on the dh runs!
Check out the trail map on the mount washington site www.mountwashington.ca and be sure to check out all the upcoming events for the summer like Beer Fest July 3rd, and Norco VPS fest july 17/18 www.vpsfest.com
Hope to see all you guys up on the trails - I couldn't wait and had to hike a run the other day :)
