yeah it was crazy. i was just riding along and he jumped out of nowhere 5 feet in front of me like he was trying to comit suicide. haha, and at 9 in the morning and still drunk all i could think to do was lift up my legs so i wouldn't get squirel guts squirted on me. but it kept on running after i nailed him. i'll bet if i was running a rigid fork, it'd be a goner.

haha, a few broken ribs and the squirrel sucked it up and kept going....he was most likely just trying to prove to a few other squirrels in the bush that he is canadian and not a european with a visor, haha

hahaha - the rabbits have made their presence felt at our little trails. I'm waiting to see one of 'em just sprinting ahead of me and then launch the 8 footer. We're always seeing snakes darting about just across our wheel.
Makes sense, we're really just in THEIR world.

Lucky rodent bastard is more like it;)

Bummer about the non-Whistler thing...I'm currently trying to avoid being in that same position in a few weeks. It's starting to look up for this kid. (fingers crossed)

You ran over a crow?

thats impressive, the best i have done is hit one with a golf ball when it was behind a bush. I couldnt see it and feathers went everywhere and it flew away:P

I hit a rabbit at Whistler last year and snowboarded over a mink at Baker a couple of years ago. I also hit a dog on a road section of a ride that put me in the hospital. All the animals were OK only I was hurt.

I wonder how demonic we appear to the critters as were about to break their aura.

Curious if anybody has had a similar experience w/ a bear, deer or moose?
