z1 FR knobs

i've got a 2004 z-1 FR ... all black aside from the damn gold knobs. any ideas where i can get some plain black ones?

failing that, know anyone that'll anodize them for a reasonable price?

why not just paitn em flat black ??

its not like the knobs take a shit load of abuse.. paint wil stick to em just fine...

I have an '03 Z1 FR that has the black stanchions and crown, but the old black preload knobs. I'm having a problem with them where they keep "loosening" by themselves. If I turn up the preload, it will slowly turn itself down as it is ridden.

Anyway, if you're really gung ho about having an all black fork, you should be able to swap the newer preload knobs for the older ones. I'm not sure about compatability, but try taking the knobs off to see if you can mount the old style ones on there.
