golds are the better all around arent they? i say gold for shore and red for say a nice dry day at whistler.
gold.
The red will wear out VERY fast up here.
Problem with the gold is that they squeel pretty badly...especially when its dry.
Best all round imo are the greens. No squeel and doesn't wear as fast the red.
use the Golds for everyday riding...
run the RED's when its dry and u want some extra stopping power...
if u run the REDS all the time u'll burn em up fast...

Gold all the way. They stop better than Green, last longer than both Red or Green and work better in wet condtions aswell.
I've used all three at one time or another and found that the Green pads are good all round pad. But the Golds have a very solid feel at the lever and have better initial bite.
I don't know if its just me but, I found that the organic Red pads gave me a mushy feeling lever.
