im going to buy me a sherman slider plus, but i need to know if i need the one for short headtube or the one for a long headtube.
the headtube on my bike is a little under 4.5 ''
and i have a FSA pig dh headset
but im also going to purchase a .243 when my current frame craps out on me.

4.5" headtube is small... you dont need the long crown.

ok, thanks
get the Long version anyways...
its better to have the drop crown and not really need it, then have the flat crown and have to order the drop crown later...
plus having the drop crown will make it eiaser to resell the fork later if that interests you...
p.s. good choice on forks by the way...
also the drop crown is really short anyways... its only like 3/4" of drop...not even really...
alot of bikes cant fit teh Slider cuz the drop crown isnt long enuf...
