I have shopping around for a bike for my lady, she wants to get into riding. Someday hoping to keep with me and my buddies.
She has riddem some light xc trails on her 88 norco mountaineer and wants to step it up a bit.
I came across this bike

do you guys think this would be a good started bike for a gal who wants to take it to the next level?
The price is right, and she really likes the color.
The color seems to be a big issue so i was pretty stoked to find a bike that was in the price range, that was somewhat freeride oriented and that she also like the color.

a Norco Bigfoot would also be a worthy option, I dunno about the colour though

Maybe he has a wife and a girlfriend. It's been known to happen.
That could also explain why he can't afford that RM7.:)
EDIT: Never mind, it's his fiance.

EXACTLY
you can get her a REAL bike for even less then you could get some shit kona or norco that will most likely kill her off a 2ft drop.

ya, definately look used... provided she's cool with it. if she doesn't have a problem riding a used bike, you'll get a much better deal, thats for sure...
