Hey, I just got my slider+ installed a few days ago and I'm a little concerned about some flex I've been seeing. When I brake the front wheel and push forward, the fork makes a little dull clicking noise and bends backwards, barely noticeably. I know this isn't that special, but it just started today after some riding. Any ideas? I don't think its just the fork entering into the travel though. Maybe its a problem with my hex lock. Before you tighten the bolts that clamp the hex, should you be able to pull the leg out a little and see some axle next to the hub? This is when the axle bolt on the end is compeletely tightened. Thanks!

yeah, mine can do that too..

tighten the axle, then tighten the pinch bolts down.. it shouldnt be to flexy ....
also tighten the crowns.

watch out when tightening pinch bolts though... probably different design but my friend had to get new lowers on his 888 cause he tighened the pinchbolts too much and it cracked from the outside bolt to the outside of the fork.:(

the pinch bolts are just to keep teh axle from backing out...

u dont need to tighten those little bolts to much...

noise?
lift up your front end then drop it wiothout holding the grip,
if it makes a small creak/tick sound its your headset,
my bro had a blackspire headset, and ever since he ran his monster it made a "tick" sound everytime he dropped the front end, now he bought a FSA PIG, only 35 bux with no tax at Overtimes), now there isn't any noise.

all forks flex, and flex isn't really a bad thing, it gives less stress to your headtube
